I-75 north of Lexington reopens after fuel spill

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A fuel spill on Interstate Highway 75 north of Lexington was continuing to cause traffic problems Thursday morning.

Authorities said the spill was reported about 11 p.m. Wednesday in the northbound lanes near the 120 mile marker.

Officials said just after 5 a.m. that the roadway has been reopened.

No injuries were immediately reported and the cause of the spill remains unknown.
