LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A garbage truck lost some of its load Tuesday morning near the ramp to Alumni Drive, closing a portion of New Circle Road.
Lexington traffic officials said a garbage truck overturned, but an LEX 18 crew on the scene found police blocking part of the road and trash in the roadway, but no wreckage.
The traffic officials said the inner loop of New Circle Road was expected to be affected until about 8:30 a.m.
Officials said the roadway has reopened.
