GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) — One person was shot in the parking lot of the Georgetown Walmart in an armed robbery, police confirm.
Georgetown police say that the victim was shot sometime around 9 p.m. He managed to drive himself to the parking lot of the Speedway on Darby Drive to get help.
He is believed to have non life-threatening injuries.
No one has been taken into custody at this time and the scene is still very active.
