Glasgow police warn residents to check Halloween candy after tampering report

GLASGOW, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Glasgow Police Department is reminding residents to check their Halloween candy after receiving a report of candy tampering within their community.

Police shared a photo on social media showing a piece of candy with an unspecified object inside it. The department said the photo came from within their community and the candy appears to have been tampered with.

The police department is urging all residents to carefully inspect Halloween candy before consuming it.
