Golden Alert issued by Lexington Police for missing man

***Mr. Rea has been located safely and the Golden Alert has been canceled***

Lexington Police have issued a Golden Alert for William "Bill" Rea, 76 years old.

He was last seen around 11:00 p.m. Sunday night when he left his home in the Curtilage neighborhood.

Police say Rea was recently diagnosed with a minor cognitive impairment, which has gotten worse in the last few weeks.

He was last seen driving a 2013 black BMW X5 with a Kentucky license plate "393 RLJ."

Rea is described to be about 6'2", and weighs 188 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a black turtle neck and khaki pants, eyeglasses, a gold watch, and a wedding ring.

Officials say Rea also has poor hearing and does not wear hearing aids.
