Golden Alert issued for missing Clark County man

WINCHESTER, KY (LEX 18) — A Golden Alert has been issued for a missing man in Clark County. Winchester/Clark County Emergency Management Officials say Rick Calvert, 66, was last seen by a neighbor on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

Officials say Calvert left his home on 423 Paisley Court in his white pickup truck. They say he left disturbing notes saying he was going to exit this world. Calvert's brother tells officials that he has a history of depression and suicidal tendencies and has been hospitalized in the past. Officials say attempts have been made to reach his cell phone, but it has been turned off.

There is no description of what Calvert was wearing, but he often wears blue jeans and button up shirts. Calvert is described to be a white male, around 6 feet tall, blue eyes, about 200 pounds, medium build, chipped teeth, shoulder length gray hair and a beard.

He was last seen driving a 1996 white Ford F-159 with Kentucky license plate: 414194. Deputies have searched places where Calvert may have been in Winchester and Clark County.
