Gov. Andy Beshear to provide coronavirus update at 12:30

FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Governor Andy Beshear will provide an update on Kentucky's first confirmed case of Coronavirus.

The Governor declared a state of emergency after confirming that one patient tested positive for COVID-19 in Lexington. Health officials from Harrison County confirm that the patient is a resident of Cynthiana and is currently in isolation at UK Chandler Hospital.

No other information has been released.
