Gov. Beshear to hold 'children's press conference' ahead of daily briefing

FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Gov. Andy Beshear announced that he will hold a special press conference to talk to children across the state who may have fears and concerns over the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Beginning at 5 p.m., Gov. Beshear will address children across the state who may be worried about the things they are hearing and seeing on the news. The Governor will address kids across the Commonwealth before holding his daily press briefing with the latest information on COVID-19 cases.

"A reminder we will have one #COVID19 update today at 5 p.m. ET. We will start with an age-appropriate discussion for kids, followed by the full update," reads a statement from the Governor.
