FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Gov.-Elect Andy Beshear announced his plans for inauguration celebrations on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The current attorney general also announced that teachers will lead the parade through the streets of Frankfort.
The breakfast reception will be held at 7:30 a.m. at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History.

A worship service will follow at Frankfort's First Christian Church at 8:30 a.m.
The parade will kick off at 10 a.m. through the streets of Frankfort with teachers leading the parade instead of the Gov. Elect. Several musical artists will perform at 1 p.m. before Beshear is sworn in on the Capitol steps at 2 p.m.
Schools in Franklin County will be closed due to the inauguration.
