GRAYSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Grayson County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating two missing children.

Police said Carlie Geary, 8, and Chyenne Williams, 5, have been missing since Thursday when they were taken from their home by their noncustodial parent Ellen Maples, 31.

The children are considered to be in danger due to Maples' mental health, and history of physical abuse and neglect.

The children were placed in the state's custody Thursday before they were taken by Maples.

Anyone who has seen the children or Maples is asked to call their local police department or the Grayson County Sheriff's Office at 270-259-0303.
