GRAYSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Grayson County Sheriff is asking people to listen to his warning and wear a mask.

In a Facebook post, Sheriff Norman Chaffins shared that he and his family tested positive for COVID-19

Sheriff Chaffins says he believes his family got the virus while traveling in an RV to Wyoming and Montana late last month.

He says while his family socially distanced while on vacation, they did not always wear masks and he is now "paying the price."

Sheriff Chaffins urges the public to wear a mask because he doesn't want anyone else to go through what he has.
