LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Temperatures next week are expected to be in the 90s, so Lexington's Division of Waste Management will adjust its regular waste collection window.
Commercial pickups Monday-Wednesday will begin at 3 a.m., while residential pickups on Monday and Tuesday will start at 4 a.m.
There are no residential pickups on Wednesdays.
These times will reduce employees’ risk of heat-related injuries. Waste carts should be placed on the curb the night before collection.
