IRVINE, Ky. (LEX 18) — According to the City of Irvine Fire Department, a helicopter had to make an emergency landing at Estill Springs Elementary.
The fire department said in a post on Facebook that there was not a patient aboard the helicopter at the time, and it was able to land safely.
The post adds that crews were on their way to make repairs.
