LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Lexington were investigating after several shots were fired into a home on the city's north side late Wednesday night.
Authorities said the incident occurred just before midnight in the 400 block of Douglas Avenue, which is near the Lexington Cemetery.
Police said that a home appeared to have been hit by gunfire several times. They recovered shell casings found in the roadway.
Officials tell LEX 18 that five people were inside the home at the time but no one was injured.
There was no word on possible suspects in the case.
