HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A western Kentucky business owner is sharing her story after finding the mural on the back of her Hopkins County coffee shop vandalized.

The owner of Big City Market and Coffee Bar in Madisonville says she has never experienced anything like this before. Someone spray-painted part of her building last week, covering artistic murals that can't easily be repaired. The messages reference the Black Lives Matter movement.

Madisonville Police say neighboring security video is being reviewed to see if officers can identify anyone involved.
