BEREA, Ky. (LEX 18) — Emergency crews responded Wednesday morning to a rescue call involving a horse trapped in a culvert, according to a post from Berea Kentucky Fire Department.
Officials say the call came in just after 8:00 a.m. When crews arrived, they found the horse stuck but uninjured. Working with the horse’s owner, responders were able to free the animal without injury.
Rescue teams attribute the successful operation to cooperation and experience.
