CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — Campbellsville Fire and Rescue responded to a house fire on Hearon Road this morning, where heavy smoke was pouring from the residence when firefighters arrived.
Crews quickly extinguished the flames and conducted a search for occupants. One person was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Seventeen firefighters responded to the scene to battle the flames.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
