LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Georgetown Road on Lexington's north side reopened to traffic Wednesday morning after being shut down as emergency crews responded to a crash.
Traffic officials said that the crash happened on Georgetown Road between Hurricane Hall Road and Iron Works Pike.
Emergency crews were called out to the crash about 7:10 a.m.
Officials said Georgetown Road was shut down between the Sunset Motel and the Maplegrove Trailer Park.
Traffic was being turned around and diverted until the roadway reopened about 8:15 a.m.
No serious injuries were reported.
