(LEX NEWS) — Joanne Glasser, the first female president of Eastern Kentucky University, has died. Bradley University announced her death on Tuesday.
Glasser served as EKU's 10th president from 2001 to 2007. During her tenure, she oversaw major growth on the Richmond campus, including new centers for business, student services, and fitness. She also helped open a new campus in Corbin.
Glasser later became the first female president at Bradley University, where she served until 2015.
