LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Just in time for Small Business Saturday, the long-anticipated Julietta Market opened its doors.

The marketis part of the renovatedGreyline Station, located on Loudon Avenue at North Limestone, where local vendors can sell their goods year-round.

The goal is to feature 58 local vendors, with many companies just starting out.

"I think what they have done here is they are thinking in terms of a community as opposed to you know just wanting to open a building. They are thinking in terms of people in the community that need the opportunity, that want an opportunity to be able to grow a business. This is a start for many of the businesses here," said Rayann White, owner of Rayann's Popcorn Company.

White says her first customer bought a chocolate caramel peanut drizzle. She also sells a variety of flavored popcorn but says caramel corn is her most popular.
