LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX News) — Kentucky veterans were welcomed home at Bluegrass Airport after Honor Flight took them to Washington, D.C., for a one-day, all-expenses-paid visit to the national memorials.
The flight included World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans from Eastern, Central, and Southern Kentucky.
Family and friends gathered at Bluegrass Airport to greet the veterans when the flight returned home.
