LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX News) — The Kentucky Blood Center will hold a "Donate like Dolly" blood drive in remembrance of Dolly Parton.
Parton died on Aug. 25 at the age of 80.
The Kentucky Blood Center said anyone who donates blood at one of the KBC donor center locations on Friday, Sept. 4 will receive a commemorative Dolly T-shirt featuring a quote from the Queen of Country herself.
The t-shirts are available for one day while supplies last.
KBC said it will also donate $5 to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library for every donation.
Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 lbs, be in good health, show a photo I.D. and meet additional requirements.
