KSP asking for help locating missing Pikeville woman

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police is asking the public for help in the search for a missing Pike County woman.

KSP Post 9 was contacted on Aug. 12 regarding Valoria Hunt, 39, of Pikeville, whose family said they had not heard from her since July 30 when she contacted them from a residence in the Lick Creek area, police said.

Hunt is described as a white female, 5’8” tall, 160 pounds, with curly dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about her location is asked to contact the KSP Pikeville Post at 606-433-7711.

The investigation is ongoing by Post 9 Trooper Mark Branham and Detective Jason Merlo.
