KSP: Hopkins County Deputy killed in crash

NOTONVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police are investigating after a Hopkins County Sheriff's Deputy was killed in a crash. It happened around 7:28 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22.

Officials say they were called to a crash on the Western Kentucky Parkway.

Troopers say Terry Vick, 43, who was a deputy with the Hopkins County Sheriff's Department, was driving a Honda Civic when he crossed the median, hit a guard rail and then came to rest against a concrete wall.

Vick was pronounced dead on scene by the Hopkins County Coroner's Office.
