CLAY CITY, Ky. (LEX 18) — An inmate escaped from the transfer station in Clay City, according to Kentucky State Police.
KSP said around 3 p.m., 27-year-old John Bixby, of Adairville, escaped work release. He is described as 5'11'', weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen in an orange jumpsuit issued by the Powell County Detention Center.
Bixby is believed to be in a stolen, red passenger car. His direction of travel is unknown.
