LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two people were injured Wednesday after a crash involving a tractor-trailer on Newtown Pike.
The crash occurred just before 10 a.m. near Interstate-75.
Officials said a pickup truck hauling a camper rear-ended the tractor-trailer. A crane was needed to lift the semi to remove the truck from underneath.
Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The inbound lanes of Newtown Pike at Sugar Maple Lane are now back open.
