LETCHER COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police say that a Letcher County man died in a logging accident Tuesday morning.
KSP says that when they got to the scene, the man was unresponsive.
Jimmy Branson, of Whitesburg, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 48-years-old. It was determined that Branson was hit by a limb that had fallen when a tree was cut down near him.
An autopsy will be performed,
