LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — His events have been cancelled, but a Lexington DJ is still determined to make people smile through his passion for music.

Leo Pineda now holds "Front-yard Happy Hour," on Friday night outside his Manitoba Lane home. The DJ and owner of NytroMen Group plays music from 6-8 p.m. The only rule is people can't leave their own yard.

"You're taking in so much that you've got to let out," Pineda said of the news around coronavirus. "Let it out, breath, disconnect, enjoy yourself a little bit."

Pineda's goal is to help people de-stress from their lives at home and spend time outdoors.

While his business has been essentially shut down by the coronavirus pandemic, Pineda said the happy hour is his way to give back.

"Eventually my blessing will come," he said. "The universe will bless me back and that's all that matters to me."

Pineda also streams his DJ sets on his Facebook page.
