LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police are investigating after one teenager near Peachtree Road in Lexington.
Lexington Police say around 7:00, a drive-by shooting was reported.
According to investigators, a male teenager was standing outside when a car drove by and someone shot him in the chest.
Police say the victim was taken to a hospital, and his condition is stable. His injury is considered non-life-threatening.
A vehicle was also hit by gunfire.
Police are working on a description of the shooter to help identify them.
