LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man who police in Lexington say almost struck an officer with a vehicle while fleeing a traffic stop has been arrested.

Police said that on Aug. 25, officers approached Austin Wall as he sat in a silver Kia at the Speedway on Georgetown Road.

Wall allegedly put the car into reverse and nearly hit a cruiser, then put the vehicle in drive and nearly struck an officer as he sped away, police said.
