Lexington police seek suspect after man shot dead

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Lexington said they were searching for a suspect after a man was shot dead on the city's north side.

Authorities said they were looking for 31-year-old Damarkus "Spice" Hill in connection with the fatal shooting that took place about 4:45 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Hollow Creek Road.

Police said Hill shot a man in the head as he sat in a vehicle.

The Fayette County Coroner said 22-year-old Darius Bolden died of a gunshot wound about 6 p.m. Thursday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Lexington police are asking anyone with information about the crime or Hill's whereabouts to call authorities.
