LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Across the country Tuesday, activists will hold rallies in support of the impeachment of President Donald Trump. That includes events in Kentucky, in cities like Louisville, Frankfort and Lexington.

Lexington's rally will be held in the Courthouse Square starting at 5:30 p.m.

Speakers will include state Rep. Kelly Flood, Nancy Jo Kemper, Damon Davenport and others.

According to the event's Facebook page, the group also will march eight blocks to send their message that "nobody is above the law.”

The march will start at the courthouse and go down on Main, Rose and Vine streets before looping back to the courthouse square.

So far, over 400 people have RSVP’d to the event.

Last week, democratic leaders announced they will bring two articles of impeachment against the president, charging him with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The U.S. House of Representatives is expected to vote on those articles of impeachment Wednesday.
