LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The mayors of Louisville and Lexington have made a friendly wager on Saturday's Cats-Cards matchup.
The stakes are high for fans of both teams, but now Mayor Greg Fischer has upped the ante. Over Twitter, the mayor offered to make a bet on the outcome.
We're proclaiming Saturday a Wear Red Day in Louisville to support @LouisvilleMBB tomorrow! @MayorGorton, are you up for a friendly wager on the game? We've got a bottle of @OldForester that says the Cards win in Lexington.

Mayor Gorton was all too happy to accept. She countered with another bottle of spirits.
You're on! Tomorrow is Beat Louisville Day in Lexington, after all.
