(LEX 18) — Madison County Central High School got their chance to shine at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
Strong winds and cold temperatures didn't stop the Richmond high school from rocking out a performance of Maroon 5's "Animals" in the Macy's main square at 32nd Street in Manhattan.

The band was selected over a year ago for the parade and they left over the weekend to head to the Big Apple for their performance. You may remember the band from their "light's out" performance at a competition at Morehead State this Fall.
The Madison County Central High School band is under the direction of David Jaggie.
