MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Sherrif's Deputies in Madison County are investigating a weekend fatal crash. It happened around 8:48 p.m. Saturday, April 11 on Berea Road near the intersection with Duncannon Lane in Richmond.
Deputies say Lauren Arnold, 30, was driving a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria with two passengers on Berea Road when she attempted to turn left into a gas station. That's when deputies say she turned into the path of a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Justin Engell, 32.
Arnold and Kayela Boone, 25, were taken to UK hospital with minor injuries. Lyndsey Cook, 29, of Monticello was pronounced dead at UK hospital.
Engell was not hurt.
No charges have been filed at this time.
