Magnitude 2.5 earthquake recorded in southern Kentucky

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A magnitude 2.5 earthquake was recorded in southern Kentucky shortly before 2:00 a.m. Friday morning.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake was 9km NNW of North Corbin, Kentucky, between London and Keavy.

There were no immediate reports of damage.
