MERCER COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man who allegedly kicked and spat on emergency room nurses in Mercer County is now facing charges in the case.
Police said 31-year-old Thomas Reed was found Wednesday bleeding from the head along Mooreland Avenue in Harrodsburg.
Authorities said Reed got into a physical altercation with EMS and fire fighters who took him to an area hospital. Police say Reed spat on and threatened the first responders and nurses.
After his treatment, Reed was charged with public intoxication, assault, disorderly conduct and terroristic threatening.
