FLEMING COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — State police in Morehead are investigating after a juvenile was found deceased.
According to an arrest citation, James McCord, 25, was drinking with the juvenile. During this time, McCord gave the juvenile marijuana and suboxene, according to police.
They stated that a juvenile was taken to the Fleming County Hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
A cause of death was not listed.
A short time later, McCord was arrested and charged with unlawful transaction of a minor.
McCord is lodged in the Mason County Detention Center.
