Man arrested for allegedly stealing septic cleaning truck

LEXINGTON, Ky. (KNOX COUNTY — Knox County Sheriff's Departments deputies arrested a man who allegedly stole a septic cleaning truck.

Deputies say on Wednesday they were contacted about a Blevins Septic Cleaning Truck that went missing from Barbourville.

Reportedly their investigation led to a barn off Ruben Ridge Road in the East Bernstadt community in Laurel County.

Sheriff Mike Smith and Sgt. Carl Frith recovered the truck there.

According to deputies, 48-year-old Barrett Sizemore of Heidrick, Ky. was arrested on Friday on a theft charge.

Deputies say he was located at a home approximately 2/10ths of a mile from where the stolen truck was recovered.

Barrett Sizemore is being held at the Knox County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond.
