CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Clay County Sheriff's Office reported that a man was arrested after a stabbing on Gregory Branch Road Wednesday morning.
A deputy was dispatched to the complaint around 4 a.m. Wednesday morning. Upon arrival, he found a male subject in the middle of the road with a deep laceration to his upper torso. Through his investigation, it was determined that the subject had gotten into an altercation with 51-year-old Rickie Gregory, which resulted in the stabbing.
Gregory was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.
While at the scene, a woman there was arrested on multiple warrants. They were taken to the Clay County Detention Center.
