OLDHAM COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Oldham County were investigating after a man died Sunday morning at the Falling Rock Park Quarry in La Grange.
Emergency crews were called out about 10:30 a.m. after a group of divers found an unresponsive man at the bottom of the quarry.
Police said rescue crews pulled out 62-year-old Dennis Price and attempted life-saving measures but were unsuccessful.
Price was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials said Price had been scuba diving with a friend, but the pair became separated at some point.
The cause of death remains under investigation.
