LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX News) — A man escaped safely after his home on Foxchase Court in Lexington caught fire Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters said they were called to the house around 2:30 p.m. The man said he was home when the attic caught fire but got out safely.
Crews said they found heavy flames and smoke when they arrived. The department quickly extinguished the flames but reported significant damage.
The man will be displaced because of the fire.
