LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a crash early Thursday morning southwest of downtown Lexington.
Authorities said a vehicle slammed into a utility pole about 3 a.m. near the intersection of Man O War Place and Elaine Drive.
Officials tell LEX 18 that the man had to be cut from the crashed vehicle before he was transported to an area hospital.
Kentucky Utilities was called out to assess damage to its infrastructure.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
