NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — On Saturday, people in Jessamine County got the chance to say goodbye to a man they helped reunite with his family for the holidays.

Brian Rolan has lived in Nicholasville for about ten years, but he's been homeless since last December.

We spoke with him on Monday as folks at CNC Bakery and throughout the community rallied to raise enough money to move him out to South Carolina to be with his daughter and other family.

The bakery posted that Rolan stopped by on Saturday for anyone wanting to wish him safe travels.

Rolan is leaving Sunday morning from the Greyhound Station at 9:20 if you'd like to say goodbye.
