MERCER CO. (LEX 18) — A barn is destroyed after a fire in Mercer Co. early Saturday morning.
Anderson Co. and Mercer Co. crews responded to the fire off of Highway 127 near Louisville Road around 5am.
Officials say the barn is a total loss, including several pieces of farm equipment that were inside.
The crews were able to save a couple of nearby structures.
Officials say no one was injured. There were no injured animals either.
