(LEX 18) — Miss Kentucky, Alex Francke, will be competing with 50 other young women for the title of Miss America 2020.
Francke, 22, is a graduate of the University of Kentucky who has dedicated her year of service as Miss Kentucky to the platform "Adopt an Art." The social initiative is a non-profit that seeks to provide high-quality arts training to students across the Bluegrass.
The competition will air on Dec. 19, 2019 on NBC beginning at 8 p.m.
