More than 1.5 million Kentuckians have cast a ballot so far in the 2020 election

FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Kentucky State Board of Elections reported Sunday that more than 1.5 million people have voted so far in the 2020 election.

With two more days left to vote, 1,507,983 total Kentuckians have cast their ballots.

Here's how the numbers break down so far:
- 933,409 in-person votes
- 574,574 absentee ballots returned

To put that number into context, the State Board of Elections reported that 1,955,196 voters cast a ballot in the 2016 presidential election.
