BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A union officer in Boone County has been charged with embezzling from his union.
Painters Local 238 treasurer Shannon Pemberton is accused of embezzling more than $6,000 from the union over a period of 14 months.
He is also accused of filing a false financial report for the union.
Pemberton now faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
He is due in court for arraignment on Thursday.
