LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Officials have identified both victims killed in a crash Wednesday on New Circle Road on Lexington's west side.
According to an officer, a car was driving on the inner loop of New Circle Road, lost control, crossed the median and hit a car in the outer loop head-on. The car that was originally in the inner loop then spun out and flipped. The two people in that car were both killed.
The Fayette County Coroner's office announced Thursday morning that 21-year-old Bethany Sue Staub of Williamstown died of blunt force trauma. Late Thursday, the coroner also announced that Christopher Monst Coyle, 21, of Lexington was also killed.
Coyle was a passenger in the vehicle driven by Staub.
