Two killed in Clark County crash

CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Officials in Clark County are on the scene of a double fatal crash.

The coroner says it happened around 4:30 a.m. at the intersection of Boonesboro and Old Boonesboro Roads.

Officials say it was a head-on collision. Three people were involved in the crash: one person in a black Tahoe, headed north and two adults headed south in a silver Dakota.

The passenger in the Dakota was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Both drivers were killed in the crash.

Those drivers have been identified as Gary Brooks, 38 of Mount Sterling and Joshua Dye, 37, of West Liberty.
